Who we are
Established in 1998, Liga-Trans has built a strong reputation in the logistics sector, initially starting as a subcontractor for DPD Belgium with a focus on parcel distribution via delivery vans. From the very beginning, the company adopted a deliberate and steady growth strategy, guided by a strong commitment to quality, operational excellence, and team stability.
In 2003, Yves Devadder joined Liga-Trans as co-managing director. His involvement contributed to the company’s continued development, supporting improvements in services and internal processes as Liga-Trans adapted to the changing logistics landscape.
Today, Liga-Trans operates a versatile and modern fleet tailored to various transport needs. Mercedes-Benz trucks make up a significant part of the fleet, reflecting our ongoing investment in safety, performance, and driver comfort.
In 2024, following the retirement of founder Guy Verbelen, the company embraced a new generation of leadership with Olivier Verbelen joining as co-managing director. This transition reinforced our long-term vision: to stay ahead through innovation while maintaining the values and reliability that have defined Liga-Trans for over 25 years.
As part of our commitment to sustainable logistics, Liga-Trans began testing electric trucks in 2025. This initiative represents a strategic step toward reducing our environmental impact and contributing to a greener, more responsible transport sector. Sustainability is not just a trend — it is a fundamental pillar of our future operations.
At Liga-Trans, we continue to invest in people, technology, and infrastructure to ensure we deliver flexible, reliable, and future-ready transport solutions — every day.
